Margaret....i'm one step ahead.....have used scotlands people....that is were i have traced most of my grandmothers relies. Spent well over 20 pounds on it mind, but worth every penny. Having no luck on the grandfathers side mainly cos i can't trace a marriage for his parents. Hopefully Max will help on that when she fully recovers and has her next trip to LMA. The wedding between Isabella and Alexander has no certificate to view...so the only way to find out there parents would be to order it :(

Hi Max, Flattery will get you everywhere!! Thought you were in your sick bed? Hi Siobhan, Why don't you download the copy from the scotlandspeople site. You will also get it instantly. It's a lot cheaper than ordering the certficates. Even if you live in Edinburgh they still cost a min of £8. As Max will agree, for £6 min fee to use the site, you can find load on rellies. Let me know if I can be of more help. Regards Margaret
