I'm hoping to go to Kew next week to look up some 1878-1890 Afghan war records of my g grandfathers. Is it straight forward or are there any tips we should know before we go?

Hello Paul You will enjoy your day at Kew but, you do need either a driving licence or passport. If you go to the resource Centre on the left of this page then PRO website you can read everything you need to know. It makes sense to read it first. Good Luck Shirley
