Helen Gave me a shock, thought I was lost there for a minute. I am going to do a mailing to all Burgess's in a 25 mile radius of Cowden Kent to see if they are related. There should in fact be some in the same town where I live, East Grinstead. The ones in Kent should be in and around the area of Elham. So your neighbours may yet hear from me depending where in Kent they are. Regards Gary |

I live in Wittersham. There are at least 2 lots here who Iknow plus one family gone to Canada (I think). The lady next door to me is nearly 100 and very frail. I think it's a local name - could ask her son if you want. Went to look at a house once in Elham, I think - ages ago - far side of Canterbury and in the middle of fields. Is that the same place? Cowden is about 35 miles away. |
