can anyone do an 1891 lookup for me for my g.g.grandad-- Thomas Horton born c1869 middlesex ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Only trouble is his name might (as on his marriage cert) be listed as Jonathan THOMAS Horton. He was known as Thomas to his family & is listed as Thomas on my grandads birth cert. I cant find him on 1881 census alough he's listed as thomas in the 1901 census. Thankyou in advance elaine x |

I dont know his fathers name. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ i'm really confused, about him. I recently found out that his wifes(mabel) maiden name was collins & after I did a search on free bmd using her name for marriages, one of the 4 spouses listed on the page was Jonathan THOMAS horton. Ive sent off today for their marriage cert as i'm sure iv'e got the right couple as their first child (also called Thomas) was born in 1897 (they married in 1896). & her name was the only one that came up for edmonton district which had a match on both surnames . I will have to wait 'till next week until I recieve the cert, to gather all the info regarding their parents. thank you for loking for me & i'll write down the details in case we have a match. elaine x |
