Also, if you put in a surname and the parents' names, it will list all the children of those parents who were christened in that parish - a great help if you find someone and want to know if they had any siblings. One afternoon I added 40 names from three generations to my tree in one go using a batch number. Jan.

If you search on the batch number you will get all the transcribed entries for the period covered by the batch for that particular church. You can enter a surname and the batch number and that will restrict the results to just that surname.

Can someone please tell me what information you get by typing the "Batch" no on the IGI family search site. Sue..................
