Hi Julie Where do you live? If you have a problem finding a poppy then contact me by email and I'll send you some. There are loads of places where I live where they are on sale. It's an even more poignant day for me because my late mother was born at 11 am on 11 of 11th .. xx A xx |

I have never found it difficult to buy a poppy. My Post Office always has them and local grocers (Spar) and Morrisons, shopping centres, etc. My great grandfather was in the India Campaign 1857-58 and grandfather in WW1 so I always buy them. Margaret |

I will admit that until I started my family research I did not comprehend what any wars meant. Having family members that died in WW1 and now an avid watcher of all the programs I think that we need to make sure interest is maintained and continued. Unfortunately last year it was very hard to try and find somewhere to buy a poppy! I dont know what we as like minded people might be able to do about it ,but as a passionate bloody minded sole would like some opinions |
