Am I going mad, I'm looking at messages and it says they have 8 messages but when I look theres about 5, then back to the message list and then it says theres 2 replies. Its really weird!! Is this a halloween joke to confuse us?? Sarah |

Have people deleted replies but the message counter doesn't go into reverse, I wonder? |

Its definetely playing me up. I tried restarting the computer and tips board comes up with last message posted at around 9.45 so even this message isn't showing up. If I go to page 2, then back to page 1, then I get all the messages listed since 10.00 but the one I've been reading, says it has 8 replies and when I click on it, theres only 5, which I suppose as u say could have been deleted. But if then I click on message list, it goes back to the messages with the last one posted at 10.10. Weird, don't know if it makes sense to you, but its very strange!! This is why I posted this, to see if it would come up, but even this keeps disappearing! Sarah |

Sarah, I think what happens is that people keep nudging topics up the board. They then delete their own 'nudge' message, so the dates/times become out-of-sync until someone posts a new message to the thread. In other words, if I post this message that I'm writing, it will send the thread to the top of the board but if I delete it then the thread will still remain there, if you catch my meaning. Andy. |

Hi Andy, Yes I'm with you!! I do have to click on page 2, then back to page 1 and get a totally different list of messages. It seems stuck at 10.00 this morning. Like I say, this message doesn't show, till I click on Page 2, then click on Page 1, then I see all the other messages posted since 10.00. The message I was originally looking at was Vivs about a weird e-mail she received. I posted a reply and it now says theres about 10 replies but the last one I see is mine, which is about number 5. A bit weird, but I'm just going to ignore it now and hopefully it will sort itself out. Thanks for the advice Sarah |

Sarah, I've seen Viv's thread and there are 10 replies in total, as you say yours is number 5. It doesn't mean there are 10 replies after your own message (there are currently 5). However, I can't think why you would not see the 5 replies that come after yours; the last one I see is from Viv herself at 10.43. Andy. |
