Hi Marie, I have his details on the 1891 living in the same area. He is listed with his wife Caroline and 4 children. I just need some help to copy and paste it on here. It depends if you are working forwards or back. There is the 1891 on the Ancestry . co . uk site, but you have to pay a subscription to access that, and the 1901 is available on pay to view. Going backwards, the 1871 is available to buy on CD for some areas. Then there is the IGI on the family search site, and free BMD which goes back as far as 1837. Lots of different options. Jan.

I have got to 1881 George Longhurst b:1840 Shoreditch London with wife & 8 kids still living in London. Where do I go from here. Whats the next census. Marie
