Genealogy Chat

I am hardly started on this side of my family as my grandfather was a illigitimate child. All i have are mothers and childrens names but a couple of generations worth but no d.o.b/places/marriages etc and cant trace them on the 1881 census or the IGI. I have names if any one is willing to help give me some guidance, but dont want to post them all here just to confuse you. I think im actually confusing myself!!! Any volunteers...

Thank you carol, but as i said i dont have much.. But here goes: Victoria May Cameron b: 1897 (2 sisters Annie and Jessie) Her son (my grandfather was born in Southwick, sussex and its though she may have come from that area. Her mothers name was sarah ann cameron (nee rose) 2 siblings Emily Grace Rose and Henry Rose. Her mothers name was Mary Ann Rose (nee Goodridge) 2 sisters Clara and Elizabeth Goodridge. Clara was a spinster and died 27/11/1953 poss in Tunbridge Wells as i have her will and it mentions that as the hospital. But i cant find any of them, and it does mention on the will they sent searches out in scotland!!!!! Confused yet!!!

Found these on the 1901 There are also some visitors call Frazier at the same address. There is a website scotlandpeople I think, but I am not registered with them. If you register, you can view actual certificates for a price, I believe.
