If there is another name in the village you can click " more details " and it will show you what has been put in for that name. Jo

Hello All, There are two of my villages that do not exist in the database of names. I emailed the site 2 days ago but have had no response as yet! Are all your villages on the database? Gillian

I have found it of great use to me.I put in details of some of my relatives a little while ago. I also put in my email address if any one had any info on the person in the comments section. I have had a relative contact me with information on my brick wall !! Now I'm keen to fill in some more addresses. Jo

Ancestral-Villages seems to have a lot of potential. I have entered my Wensleydale Weatheralls and will gradually work my way through my tree. Jim

I have also seen founded but empty villages. Some villages I am interested in do contain other inhabitants, other than the ones I entered! More people need to enter their rellies!!!!! Gillian

Bob - Your 2 empty villages may have been registered by someone (possibly me?) who clicked on find village before realising what it did!! Sue

I went to 2 villages (both already registered) but couldn't find a way of seeing any information apart from the name I had entered. Does this mean that I am the only one...Surely the original person who registered the village would have put at least one name in?

Brummie Dave If you click on "more details" to the left of your ancestor's name it will display a page containing a comments box. In there you may find the e mail address of the person who entered the information. That was where I was directed to put mine when entering information, if I wished to be contacted. Pat
