They are in a separate section - not just deaths, but births and marriages too. There are armed forces ones, and consular ones. Not sure of coverage on Free BMD but believe they are included on 1837 site. Maz. XX |

If you can get to the FRC they have deaths abroad registers. Not sure if they're just at the back of the normal books or in a seperate section tho Zoe |

does anyone know how to find the date of a death in gibralter? My grandfather Vincent Howard Collins (born1883) died of meningitis there- he was in the navy. I don't have a definite date but he was definitely alive in 1916 and definitely dead by 1939, we think he might have died around 1925. thanks! |
