thank you for your help its on parchment or similar and they have a wax seal i'll have to read it again to work out where the address is as its quiete long winded lou |

Hi Louise Depending on the age of the document there may or may not be a specific address. It may just say something like land and messuages in a vague location which might not be particularly easy to trace without a plan. Is it a typed paper document or handwritten on folded vellum/parchment ? Does it have blue Revenue seals and wax seals with signatures? Sue |

Hello - why don't you post some of the "vague" details on here and someone might recognise the address - there must be an address of some sort on the document - give it a try and see what comes up. Failing that, the Land Registry might be able to help you (depending on how old the document is). Jacqui |

i have an old property deed which was in my grans personal bits and pieces where would i go to find out more about it i know her family used to own property in the same town but not sure if this is the same place or even whereit is as its quite vague lou |
