The message is not necessarily for you, it means that there is a message relating to that name, under Trying to Find, histoory or General. Click on the "1 new message" words and the 3 boards will appear, with "new " against one of them. Click again and there you are. Beaten to it by two others. N.B. Must type faster ! |

I think you will find that there is a new message relating to that name in the Trying to Find Board or similar, rather than a message to you personally. Go back to Name Summary, and click on the Surname where it says 1 new message. That will tell you on which board the message appears, and click on that to find it. Jan |

I just looked on my names summary and saw ' 1 new message'. Nothing's appeared in my normal emails inbox. Do I have to click something on the GC site to retrieve it? This may sound really stupid but I haven't been e-mailed in response to any of my entries before and not being able to read it is like torture!!! Thanks Aileen |
