Hi What about trying the Childrens Society - formerly the Church of England Children Society - I know they had some mother and baby homes. Liz

Gill Have you checked records at the local library or County Record Office. They may have the records for the home, as it is closed to it's former use. Margaret

does anyone know how to get any info about a mother and baby home you were born at? i was born at warrington maternity home in 1965 and i know now it is an elderly residential home. i do not seem to be able to find anything out about it as a maternity home. any suggestions please. xx
