http://www(.)bbc(.)co(.)uk(/)parenting(/) 08000934934 BBC have a website which mentions the programme and National Adoption week. They gave out the above phone number after the programme for if you are affected by this , ie a parent looking for a child, or the other way round. Also said that next year the law will be changed so that Parents who give up children for adoption wil be able to search records for them. There is so much sadness in all of this. It makes me realise how lucky I am to have my beautiful children and a loving husband

I am one of the lucky ones. The son I gave up as a teenager found me about 4 years ago, and we are still in touch. Saw him a couple of weeks ago at my mums 80th birthday do. And he has invited my parents for Christmas this year.
