Another slant on e-mails in your contacts

Also tried to contact others by e-mail regarding family trees, but kept getting a message that the option was not available until I became a full member. Very frustrating. Finally gave in and sent a cheque, and can now contact others, and view other family trees.

I didn`t think of that. I have quite a list of e-mails i`ve sent without getting replies. As long as i know there`s a good reason it`s not so bad. Julie

A friend of mine, who is not a full member of GC, just happened to look in 'Your Contacts'. She found she was sent a message in mid October regarding a member in her tree. She hasn't had an e-mail from GC regarding this, and, because she isn't a full member, has no way of replying to the person that contacted her. This is an explanation I hadn't thought of for not replying to e-mails as it only applies to non members. Sue
