....records would be kept at a main local library that would help in a search for old relatives in the local area. We just need a few pointers before heading into town tomorrow. Thanks for any help. |

In our local library all censuses and old newspapers are kept on micro fiche and can be viewed on screen and a printout made if required. Don't know if all librarys are the same but imagine they are. I started my search in library and made a lot of discoveries. Andy |

My local library has some parish records, which have been transcribed by the local Family History Society. They don't have many, but I found quite a few christenings, marriages and deaths there. Maggy, West Yorkshire |

Yeovil library has all the available census' and some local parish records. Think it just depends |
