Hi from New Zealand - we are new to this and I have been reading all over the place on the site - fascinating - you are all so friendly and helpful but somewhere I have missed what nudge and bump are - please elucidate - Thanks Doreen

Hi Doreen, Nudge is to move a message to the top of the board so that it doesn't get lost. Must admit I haven't heard of bump, though. David

To move a message to the top of the board so it doesn't get lost. It can be deleted after adding - the message still stays at the top. I just do //// post it and then delete. Works just the same.

Nudge it or bump it to the top of the board! I've also seen some wit put Viagra! (Keep it Up!). As previously mentioned you can just click add message, type a fullstop or other symbol, add it then delete straightaway and still get the Viagra effect!

Just to explain a bit more fully, each time someone adds a reply to a message, it then goes to the top of the first board. If we want a message to stay on top, we do this nudge thing. It just saves us trawling through all the 15 pages. I have never seen the Viagra version of bump, but I like it. It's good to know we can still keep a sense of humour whilst banging our heads on a brick wall!!!
