Marion, I have this book too and I agree it's brilliant what is even better is that I picked it up at a £1 Bookstore. (all the books are brand new). If anyone has a store like this near them it's worth having a look. Lynn

Just found this one today at the library. It IS little too!! Its called 'Tracing Your Family History' and subtitled 'how to get started in genealogy. Its by Caroline and Jonathan Peacock and published by 'the good web guide'. Cost is £4.99 - details from www(.)thegoodwebguide(.)co(.)uk and usual suppliers I suppose. It has stacks of information and tips for everyone - not just beginners - and is full of web addresses. The websites look really interesting and loads of them I haven't seen before. I would say an excellent Xmas list item!! Maz. XX
