another tip if you are learning is to use the batch nos....once you get the hang of them you can find loads of family members and events in same church or if you use google to search igi batch numbers you can find virually all nos for all churches in this country. |

It means you can download the information you have found to a .GED file which can then be read by Family History software on your PC. You do not get any more information that you can see on the site |

Can anyone tell me what the download GEDCOM means on the free familysearch site and if you get any more information if you do this. Sorry still learning. Marie |
