Hi Julie, I use Legacy 4.0 too, and I think it's brilliant! BUT I have not been able to create gedcom files or any others come to that, without creating major problems to the database. I have kept my old v3 Family Tree Maker software, running parallel, just for the purpose of creating gedcom etc. Debbie |

This may be not a lot of use but as nobody has replied, try this,I think it may be something called a Clooz file. Try the help section of Legacy. John |

If anyone uses Legacy 4.00 can you tell me how to export just one person and her descendants of my tree into a gedcom file so I can export it to someone else who is only interested in her and her descendants? I have tried, I managed to create a file called 'Harriet Vine gedcom' which, I thought contained the exported branch and emailed it but apparently the file was empty?! Very confused and frustrated.
