Kelle, Yes you can go miles with your research, your dad is just the start. You know some good information there. You can use the www.1837online.com website which is a pay per view site. You can then search for details of your fathers birth, and marriage using his surname and years that the events took place. Having got the references is vol, page you can then order the relevant certs online through this site. Having got the certs you will then be able to see where he married, where he was born, who his parents were and therefore be able to work backwards to his parents details. happy Hunting!!! Fi

i now have a few more details of my father- date of marriage to my mother, his mothers maiden name and his year of birth-Exact month not know. Now i know these can i continue you my search any other way??? Any ideas would be greatly accepted! kelle. x x x
