Hello Gillian You could try www.lightage.demon(.)co(.)uk Its a blacksheep list of 20.000 names of convicts. and police reports 1850 -1920 It also has some info on Theatre Artists. They are all press cuttings which you can purchase if you find information you want. Shirley |

I have found two of mine on the PRO site. One for murder in 1905 and one for a minor crime. There is always the newspaper archives in the area to check on. I found the report of a relatives death but it took some time. It is easier if you have an appprox date. Regards Helena |

are records of convictions held somewhere central ? one of my ancestors was jailed for a minor offence about 1905 in Glamorgan . |
