TRYING TO SOURCE INFO ABOUT MY MOTHERS MOTHER MAIDEN NAME - HAVE TRIED LOOKING VARIOUS SITES BUT KEEP COMING UP BLANK ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED

Suzanne, This name sounds French do you have any more information regarding dates etc. We have many "French" names in the channel islands - could this be a possibility?

Yes, try French sites - There's a Le Huque 1764 in Dieppe There are also loads of Huques in the northern part of France and Belgium. see http://www.geneanet.org/
