I have just received a death certificate of a very young descendant of mine who died aged 9 years in 1867 of "PHRUNITIS". I thought he might have been died in a colliery as the area was in Staffordshire. He did, however, die at school. Does anyone with medical knowledge know what this means. I have Asked Jeeves - the only thing that site came up with was Phrenology. I know that in those days medical knowledge was limited. Can anyone help please? |
