Vital Records Index- Norfolk/Cheshire coverage?

Does anyone know how detailed the covereage for Norfolk and Cheshire is in the LDS Vital records CD's? am thinking of asking Santa for it but only if its worthwhile. Thanks janet

Norfolk 69,787 Births and Christenings 34,168 Marriages Cheshire 285,892 Births & Christenings 51,607 Marriages This is not to say any will be what you are looking for. Mary

Bear in mind that coverage is patchy date-wise. Your entire family may be on it from 1600 to 1800, but if you don't know anything about your ancesters before 1837 then it will be of no use to you!

Thanks for the details Mary. Kathryn, I do have quite a bit pre 1837 but am thinking of the VRI as an 'easy' way to find out more without travelling. Regards Janet
