How to track a GI.

A friend of mine who was adopted was finally reunited with her mother who died fairly soon after she found her. Her father was a GI - any ideas on how to trace him. Georgina

Hi Your friend could always try the American Embassy in London for help in tracing a particular GI. Their address and phone number is: American Embassy, 24 Grosvenor Square, London W1. Tel: 020 7499 9000 I've already pointed a few people in the Embassy's direction. From their replies they say that the Embassy is able to give them a number of online research sites that would be of use. Regards Patrick
