Check your surname at Ancestry.com for the same tree, as well. I have found that most people who post family trees usually post at several different sites. Ancestry(.)com being one of the bigger, better known sites, I would think that the poster may have posted there as well. The family tree section at Ancestry.com, I believe is free. I have access to the US Census at Ancestry if there is anything there that you want looked up.....Judy

Hi judy and clare, thanx for your replies. I am also a member of genealogy. com but an unpaid up member. On the site is a tree that has been posted by a lady that i have been unsuccessfully been trying to contact. It appears that this site is the only one that she has used to put her data on.When i try to access her info the site tell me i have to subscribe to actually look at her tree.Yesterday i tried to upload my tree to the website to see if that allowed me access to her info but i recieved a message informing me that the site did not allow tree's from uk address's to be uploaded(strange i know) thanx kaz

I don't think you can look at whole Tree's without the owners permission.
