Can anyone delay Christmas please - I don't have time to do my genealogy- or even visit this webiste! OK OK I know many of you are looking forward to Santa this year bacause he comes bearing CD roms full of genealogy data so I'll just have to take a raincheck. I'll be back in January! Sylvie |

Sylvie you made me chuckle cos thats just what i was thinking. I came up here to take my sons bedroom curtains down for washing, thinking to myself "i must be mad as if i have'nt got enough to do". Then the old computer beckoned and here i am. Must say i am looking forward to Christmas even though i wont really have time to do any family history stuff. Perhaps I'll sneak up while hubbies asleep Christmas afternoon and see whats going on. Double celebration for me though cos its also my birthday on Christmas day. Anybody else out there Christmas babies? Jane |

I feel your pain Sylvie! I live in the States and 7 of my family will be coming over for the holidays. I have never had that many all at once and none of them have been to our house before. There are no visions of sugar plums dancing here either, they take on a whole new form of cleaning, decorating and shopping lists, usually multipliying in the middle of the night when I wake up and remember something else to do!! It will be a good time for all when it finally gets here though. Thank goodness GC has the means to give us names added for the last few days and an opportunity to catch up! Happy Holidays to all! Never forget that Jesus IS the reason for the season. |
