Can anyone tell me how to go about finding South African genealogy information? My g/uncle Benjamin Clayton b 1877 in St Helens, Lancs emigrated to SA in the late 1890's. How can I find him? Many thanks for any help anyone can give Christel |

i've found some ancestors that emigrated to South Africa, and have looked them up on the websites above, and have found their gravestones and a document about a photo of 2 of the ancestors. How do i go about finding these pictures please?? Also, are there any records of the names of people on boats taking people that are emigrating?? I'd love to find out just how many people in my family went to S. Africa!! Thanks very much, Nicola |
