Hi Derek, Just wanted to wish yourself & family a lovely Xmas and a Happy & Healthy New Year. And to let you know (if the weather stays like it is now...) you'll be in a tee-shirt & shorts during the day but need a jumper on at night time, does tend to come in abit nippy. First, I would like to offer all fellow researchers on GC, a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous and peaceful new year. Here are a couple of sites to peruse on digesting xmas pud! Conrod Mercer has a site operating in SA, //home(.)global(.)co(.)za/~mercon/index(.)htm, Conrod is OK. A site for just about anybody, especially Germany/Italy info, the most interesting after GC, it is , www.ability(.)org(.)uk/genealog(.)html, you all know about the brackets! Why Margaret Drummond? we have never crossed emails before, but I'm so envious about her spending her leisure time in Durban, the pearl of the southern oceans. I have just recently caught up with a second cousin in Durban after 50 years apart. Yes, I met her there once in 1954, and now she is 84 and in a home for aged persons, but we chat by phone now. So merry xmas to all, luv, Derek in Pomerols, France. PS A special thanks to all those who have helped me in the past few months PPS Off to the Costa del Sol for 3 weeks on Boxing Day , Adios Amigos, see you around. Oh Lord, she wants to go shopping now!!!
