Can you tell me which has been the most helpful and comprehensive in your research? I have seen on various postings that the VRI and NBI are incomplete, and have been of little use to some members. I have managed with your wonderful help and spending hours surfing as many sites as I can, to trace my family back to about 1770 in E Riding -although now I am stuck. I am now moving onto another family tree for Sutton/Battersea/Carshalton side of Surrey. I suppose it depends what part of the country you are researching as to which software is the most useful. All advice welcome as I am quite a novice to this and don't live anywhere near an LDS centre. Many thanks Jackie
