I have been given some census info giving place of birth as BLACKHEATH, Kent. I can't place this. The Blackheath I know of is near Greenwich. Can anybody help. This was from 1851. Thanks |

Hi Diane, Greenwich was in Kent at one time, so could be the one you're thinking of. Debbie |

Diane Blackheath is almost on the borders of Kent and London, just a few miles in it. Lynda |

Hi there Thanks for all your help. This is my first foray into this county. I'm not very good with geography anyway. I did look in my Phillimores first but couldn't find it in there under Kent or any other obvious ones. Cheers Diane |
