John You're a star. just got me a room to break up the horrendous eight hour journey home for my neices' birthdays. One each way all for a tenner. And conveniently managed to get one round the corner from a friend so he's getting a pleasant surprise for the new year LOL Zoe

Thank you John.As a result of your message I managed to get 2 nights at Scotch Corner for a tenner and have booked my viewer at Northallerton CRO. A word of warning to Yorkshire researchers - the CRO at Northallerton is closed for at least a fortnight at the beginning of February for asbestos removal. Needless to say, I booked the Travelodge first and then found out! Had to make another booking. Anyone want 2 nights at Scotch Corner for a tenner 4th & 5th Feb? I have requested a refund but I'm not hopeful. Jill

.... and we can work out where you live if the latitude and longtitude are for the position of your home. John

Val - I just typed in Travelodge and clicked search on my home page. John - Thank you very much for the tip. All the £5 offers had gone but I did manage to get a winter deal which was £30 for a family room - £39.95 cheaper than usual. Jacky

I really like people like you. A HUGE thanks you. I am going to Euro Disney with my 2 little boys and family in March and was planning on travelling the day before and staying in a travelodge etc that night. At that price i have offered to pay for my sister room too! Thanks again Suzanne

Yes it's true! Next week I'm using this special offer to help me go to a record office quite a few miles away. It's easier to sleep nearby the night before, than to drive 100s of miles and then concentrate all day too. You have to book on their website at least 7 days before. It's for a limited period only!!
