Hi Linda. Sorry I didn't get back here. We had a neighbourhood emergency and I left for a bit. I was finally able to get through to "Massachusetts". Someone had sent her quite a few photos; perhaps that is why the previous tries didn't go through. I will be checking my address for the Essex contact; perhaps I copied it incorrectly. Thanks so much for all of your help, everyone. Lisa. |

Sorry! I mean a H O T M A I L address (GC won't let me type the word properly!)... People tend to use a H O T M A I L address if they want to be able to pick up their messages from wherever and whenever they have access to a computer. Nice idea, but the quotas are tiny! |

Hi Linda. Sorry, not sure what "accounts" means (computers and I don't understand each other -- but I am learning, slowly). |

Lisa - are they H O T M A I L accounts? I find that most of the messages I sent to H O T M A I L addresses bounce back because of quota sizes... |

Hi Paul. I'm laughing -- yes, I DO tend to send rather large emails! However, in this case I was actually able to send two emails each containing about 50 words -- a new record for me! I shall try again, as I received an email this morning from "Massachusetts" so hopefully she has looked through some of her mail. Thank you for your help. Lisa. |

Lisa, I think you will find that the recipient(s) mail boxes are full, or there is not enough room to take the size you are sending. This is especially true of Hotmail. It may be worthwhile sending a short mail telling them that you are sending a large mail, so that they can clear some memory for it. Paul |

I have been trying to send emails to relatives. One lives in Massachusetts, one lives in Essex, England. I keep getting <<<554 delivery error: dd Sorry, your message to (person's name) cannot be delivered. This account is over quota. - (additional personal information)... Service unavailable Seems like there is an error on my part -- because more than one person was involved. Any suggestions, please? Thank you, Lisa |
