If you bring up the ONS site on the net, there is reference to contacting them with queries, complaints, etc. Did you keep a copy of your order? This could help with your problem. Paul |

I recently applied to the GRO for a copy of my grandmother's birth certificate. I had managed to find the GRO Reference information and knew her date of birth, name and place of birth. However the certificate that came back has a different GRO reference and date of birth - this one is definitely not for my grandmother. Am I entitled to a refund and is there any way in the future that I can ensure they look up the correct GRO Reference? Many thanks Liz |
