Hi Heidemarie. 2 things I can think of - either he has been mistranscribed in 1901 or his death has not yet been transcribed to Free BMD. Of course he could also be overseas I suppose. Maz. XX

Hi, I can't find your Ernest either, these are the only male Condy's born in manchester. Just wondering if he wasn't born in Manchester. Is that a possibility? Hi again, Just had a thought, did he have a middle name that you know of, and could he be listed under that name? Nicola

Hi again, I looked up marriages on freeBMD, and found this: Condy Ernest Banes Hackney 1b 999 Jun 1901 Perhaps he was travelling in 1901 and escaped the census?! I'm not sure what month the census took place, but could this be his marriage? Good Luck Nicola

I would try Candy Cindy Condee candee etc. its taken me since August to find my Ernest Dale because he was under Dare ,so just keep trying different variations, lots are mistranscibed or mis pelt on the original . KIM
