I have the same problem. Two of my families link in two seperate generations. I have ended up duplicating quite a few people because of this. I wrote to GC to see if there is a way round this and they replied saying no there isn't but they hope to rectify this problem in the future. I have now deleted some of them, mainly partners and siblings of the main people in my tree, for the time being to save any confusion on my part. Mel

Hi Kim Sorry but you cannot do it as far as I know. I have second cousins that married and you have to add the bride again which means you duplicate her. michele

I've just discovered that my great grand father's brother married my great grandfather's sister in law. ie, two brothers married two sisters from the same family. how do you link two people already on this gc site without entering them twice? I've tried but I don't want to duplicate them. If it says add wife it does not give you the option of adding existing person like it does on Paf files. Any help appreciated from those more experienced than me. KIM
