Deaths in prison.

I would have thought that the death would be on the 1837online. The year would be more difficult and you would probably have to guess to search. I'm not sure of prison records being released on deaths in custody but the coroner would have to have been notified if the death was sudden. Hope this helps.

Can anyone tell me please, where I can lookup the year of death of a person who was sentenced to death for murder, but whose sentence was commuted to life imprisonment on account of her age. many thanks Gill.
