for anyone else interested in this the London Metropolitan Archives do hold some prison records relating to the London area. I'm not sure what the closure period would be but would assume, as Christine says above, they would be included in the 100 year closure. Zoe |

Under the privacy act this would probably have 100 year closure. |

Hi Does anyone know where I can find old prison records ie. discharge, pardons etc? It's for Brixton Prison and anywhere between 1923 and 1960. Thanks M |
