If Your Father had the Africa Star he would have almost certanly had The Defence Medal, The 1939-45 WAR medal and certanly would hold the 1939-45 Star as this was issued first before the other stars, to find out more just put war medals in search there are lots of sites showing the medals and ribbons Gary |

Hi i was wondering if anyone could could help me in finding out what a certain type of medal was 4. My father was awarded the Africa star at least that what the wording look likes of his old army book. Many thanks Theresa.x |
