Were all the Naval ships in the 1901 census? My GGrandad was a carpenter in the Royal Navy I have tried to find him in the census but have had no luck.I don't know which ship he served on so I can't do a vessel search.Has anyone any suggestions of how to find him. Thanks Sandra

Hi If you put the details you have about him in your message maybe someone can find him for you. It may be that his name has been mistranscribed. Sometimes the only way to find mistranscribed people is to search by their first name rough age and where they were born. Sometimes this produces results but not always. Regards Sharon
