Andrea: the LDS site is WONDERFUL; however, there are errors on some of the records. I've found that the records from the churches and the census records are pretty much error-free. However, the "submitted" records do contain errors; I've found quite a few regarding my ancestors.

familysearch(.)org has the 1881 census for free, and various sites, ancestry being one have the 1891 on a pay-per-view basis. Also, various members on these boards have their own records for various areas and censuses. Paul

I have been looking at the 1901 census on-line, I am interested to know if there are any previous ones on-line, in particular for Yorkshire.
