all the stuff at Kew that was most generally useful for family history has been moved to the Family Records Centre at Myddelton St. So only go to Kew if you find you have a specific need |

Jane - nip down to your local library and ask for this book - Tracing your Ancestors in the Public Record Office by Amanda Bevan - if your lucky they'll have a borrowers copy, if not order it, only costs a few pence. While your there see what else they have, our little village library now has a good collection of books on Family History. Sue |

Hi. As I am pretty new to all this, could anyone advise me what records I may be able to find at the National Archives in Kew? Do they hold birth, marriage and death certificates? Sorry if I sound a bit ignorant! Thanks Jane |
