What Information is on a Death Certificate?

The birth was in 1874 in Leeds The death approx 5 years later. I believe this individual to be a brother on my grandmother, but unless I order the birth certificate I cannot prove it. As this person died at approx age 5 I wondered if one or both of the parents names would have been listed on the death certificate as he was a minor. If one or both parents are listed, then it would be better to order the death certificate as I would also have the cause of death to include in my information Any help would be appreciated Penny |

The parents probably were the informants. It should state the relationship of the informant to the deceased. |
