Use the 1901 search as normal and press "process search "when the people page is displayed. then press "show results" and "group by" tab when results are shown , there is an arrow group" by page id" . this will group all the names on the same page in the orginal census and show you who is likely to be in same family or at least same street/neighboring house etc. then you can see who is linked together. hope this makes sense KIM

wHEN You downlowded it. you should get a 1901 icon on your desktop? Clickon that to start it , it looks the same as the ordinary prov. gov site , at the top of the screen should be a big toolbar with different tabs on. Once you have searched as normal you will come up with the usual list of people, press process search first and then when you have done that press show results its next to process search at the top left of the screen, then you should hold a list of all your people. Underneath Show results is a tab which just has Group by on it , right click on the little black arrow beisde it to sort your ancestors into page id. the list of people should then get coloured background into little groups if they are on the same page, they wont if they're not. Then you should be able to identify families, hope this is of use to you. KIM
