Hi Florence, I was contacted 2 days ago by genesconnected that my membership expires on 30th Jan. So it`s about a week before. All you have to do is fill out the form and send it off and you just carry on as before. You get a confirmation by e-mail. Julie |

What we need to remember is when we paid for our membership not just when we joined the site. I joined in November 2002 but did not pay the £5 fee till March. Michele |

They sent me an e-mail to say that my membership needed renewing and instructions on how to do it. By the way it is now £7.50. Janet |

G C must have changed the procedure for renewal since I renewed in December (I think it was). I only found out my membership had expired when I tried to e-mail another member and got the message telling me I had to be a full member to use this service. Sue |

Hi Dierdre, very many thanks for your reply. Have recently sent a couple of e mails to possible connections but have had no feed back, perhaps thats the answer! Have looked at G C terms and F A Q but cannot find any information regarding renewal. Perhaps, G C should address this situation sometime soon!! If any one has tried to contact me and has not received a reply, apologies. Reading the board it seems other members are confused about renewing membership, so hope my posting has helped. Nicki, thanks for looking for the date. I've just realised the date that shows up, is the date we first put our trees onto gc, not the date we subscribed. I subscribed June 2003, checked on my credit card statement. Panic over!!! |
