Hi, could anyone tell me if Neri is short for another name and is it male or female? I have a Neri Watts and Ann Watts as witnesses to a marriage. Thanks, Jo |

The marriage certificate I have is typed out, although it is from 1861, they must have transcribed it. It says Neri X Watts |

Hi Joanne There are 2 Neri Watts on the 1891 census- father and son Watts, Neri 49 Cradley, Worcestershire Head Thornaby with South Stockton Yorkshire Watts, Neri 14 Cradley, Worcestershire Son Thornaby with South Stockton Yorkshire |
