Just checked 1901 and it does say that parts of Deal,Kent are missing and the odd page had damage so certain info missing. The person I am looking for was not in Kent so either on damaged page or in hospital but dont know if there is any lists available of people in hospitals.

I had the same problem with my Gt Gt Grandmothers family, she would have been 11 or 12 in 1901 but I haven't found any of them. They were all on the 1891 census, so is the 1901 Census complete or not??????????? Gail.

hi susanne i too cant find my grandad on 1901. i know his date of birth was 27 jan 1897 so he should be 4yrs old.he had 4 older brothers and a younger sister all born before 1900. using the decoder i put all their names in but not one of them came up as living in the same area, let alone the same house!!! im still trying to find the names of his parents. i dont think it is complete unless my g/dad wasnt born but still managed to get married ,have kids and then die susie

I have got his death ref and the age and everything agree with birth so I know that it is correct. Did wonder if he could have been in hospital at time of census, If he was I know exactly where but how on earth do you get a listof patients?

LOL....I have got the birth ref but what I am looking for is other family members on census. He should be coming up as he would be around a year old or just under and I know he didn't die cause he had children but no sign of him over the whole country!!

From One Suzanne to another Susanne ....LOL Is it possible the birth was in the June but not registered until sometime in the future (possibly July) that would push it into the next quarter. Sioux
