I've brought this up to the top again as there has obviously been renewed interest in this subject.

Thanks Kim I've ordered the Readers Digest one - there was only 2 left and cost me about £14 with postage. Might see what the other ones mentioned are like too - as they'd make a nice pressi for quite a few people I know who are into genealogy at the minute. Thanks again

Diane it's like a wedding album and ties with a ribbon. The first few pages are for photos. In the back are useful addresses and a wall chart . Then there is a removable records book with nice paper in . There are sections on Husband's family, wifes family, list of children and grandchildren. The next 4 pages are for husband's ancestral chart and the next two pages are for husband's brother's and sister's n family. Then there are 4 pages for his parents families, then it splits into grandparents paternal/maternal 2 pages each and on to grt grandparents . Then the same sections for wife's side the same. After all those there is a section for weddings and dates. Then 2 pages regarding religious activites and worship, 2 pages in memoriam. A page to put where you have lived, and another for your ancestors addresses.4 pages for schools/graduation. then pages for clubs and military service . some pages for special friends, pets, hobbies and pastimes , and family cars, heirlooms, oral histories, family holidays and sport. There are children's growth charts , and spaces for extra ordinary events KIM

I bought one in the shop called 'Works' - a reduced price book and crafts shop. It is called Our Family History and they seem to get them in on and off. I bought mine a few years ago but have seen them quite recently. Gives pages for entering names and details, weddings, reunions, photos, businesses, hobbies etc. Jacky

There have been a couple of nice ones on e bay recently, but that's the first time I've seen anything like that on there. I got one from Matalan a while back now, it was only £2.99. I think it's one of those things you see from time to time, but you never know as it's such a growing hobby somebody make catch on and start making them for wider sale.

I was given a lovely book to record family tree information, Our Family History, published by Four Seasons Publishing Limited. I believe it was bought at a local (large) garden centre. Don`t know if this is what you are looking for, but I know when I looked in our local bookstores there was nothing else suitable. Frances
